They start with grammar. You need to speak on Monday, not conjugate.
German Language for Executives · Switzerland
Speak German when it countsFor executives in transition, in banking and finance
Aiming for promotion, preparing a move outside, between roles, or going interim
A speaking-only German programme for senior executives in Switzerland who are preparing their next role. Built around the moments where your German is tested: the interview that switches to German, the Sitzung you are about to lead, the client who prefers German. You practise out loud, with other executives, on your own schedule.
The problem
Why traditional German courses fail executives
Traditional German courses, even private ones, even those that call themselves executive courses, are unfit for the way senior executives live and work. Here is why.
They teach written German. You need spoken German, said in one breath.
They teach Germany's German. You work in Switzerland, where the words and the manners are different.
They treat you like a pupil. Homework, grades, gold stars. You run a business.
They are generic. You get a textbook dialogue, not your client, your board, your interview.
They move at the group's pace, not yours.
They take months before you can say anything useful.
They skip the situations that decide things: the headhunter call, the panel interview, the client lunch.
They hand you theory, not lines you can use the same afternoon.
They never rehearse the one moment your German is tested in front of people who matter.
And the cost is not the course fee. It is what the silence costs you.
- The final interview that switched to German, and stopped.
- The client meeting where you understood, but could not answer.
- The promotion that went to the person who could hold the room.
The solution
German Language for Executives.
A speaking-only programme, for senior executives only, built entirely around your situations and the next role you are preparing. No fixed course, no book, no timetable, no commitment to attend. You come when your week allows, you practise out loud with other executives, and you carry your German with you when you leave.
You will learn German the way people have learned languages for thousands of years, before writing existed. Simply by speaking it. It worked for millennia. It still works.
Your professional profile.
We read your CV and your LinkedIn, so the German you practise is the German of your role, your industry and your company.
Your real starting level.
We assess it in a one-to-one conversation, not a written test. Every script is written half a step above where you actually are, from absolute beginner to near-fluent.
What you need next.
In a one-to-one session with an executive coach, we agree the next step you are preparing (a promotion, a move outside, a return to the market or an interim mandate) and the situations you must handle in German on the way. Your scripts follow from that.
Every script is yours: your profile, your situations, your level today, and the level you want next.
You do not buy hours. You buy the ability to speak when it matters.
How it works
The programme runs like a membership, not a course.
You decide the rhythm.
- 01
Tell us about you.
Your CV, your LinkedIn, a one-to-one on your level, and a session with an executive coach on what you need. We build your scripts from that.
- 02
Get your deck.
Fifty-two cards, each with a QR code. You decide which situation sits behind each card, and you can change it whenever you like. The scenarios are unlimited and yours to reshape, for as long as you hold the membership.
- 03
Come when your week allows.
Any morning, any time between eight and twelve. Come every morning for four hours, Monday to Friday, if you want to go fast. Come for thirty minutes once a fortnight if that is the week you have. Start any day, stop any day, no minimum, no maximum. A teacher is in the room every morning to guide you and correct your pronunciation.
- 04
Practise in pairs, and rotate.
When you arrive, you pair with another executive. For about ten minutes you practise your own scenario with them, then their scenario with you as the second voice. Then you rotate to the next person. Come for forty minutes and you will have practised your scenario with four different executives. You will have met four people worth knowing, which is your network. And you will have run your scenario four times with four different reactions, which is how real communication skill is built: different people answer differently, and you learn to adjust. If the room is empty when you arrive, or everyone is already paired, you practise with the teacher until someone is free. You are never without a partner.
Outside the room, your deck goes with you. Over coffee, at home, at the office, scan the QR code on any of your cards and your own scenario appears on your phone. The person opposite scans the same card and sees it too. You practise, two by two, with anyone, anywhere. The phone serves the conversation. It never replaces it.

For you if
- You are an executive in banking, finance, financial services, insurance or private equity
- You are senior, C-level or a board member
- You are preparing your next role: a promotion, a move outside, a return to the market or interim management
- Your German breaks exactly when it matters, in the interview, the client meeting or the board meeting
- You want to speak, not to sit exams
- No fixed timetable survives contact with your diary
Not for you if
- You want a grammar certificate
- You enjoy a traditional classroom
- You have plenty of unhurried time and no particular situation coming that you need to master
We take executives at every level, from absolute beginners to the near-fluent. Some of our executives start from zero, because in a few weeks they face an interview, a client or a board in German and they need to hold that specific situation, human to human, with the right words. They do not want to become fluent. They want to master what is in front of them, and then to keep improving. Whatever your level, there is a situation coming that you want to handle, and there is a next level of spoken German to reach. That is what this is for.
The offer
Club membership, by application only
Personalised scripts, your deck of unlimited scenarios, a teacher every morning, a room of executives only, and your content to keep.
Learning German from A2 to C1 the traditional way costs a five-figure sum and takes years in a mixed classroom. One-to-one, it costs far more. This is a different path, priced for what it delivers and discussed when you apply.
